I am running for City Council to offer the citizens of Carnation a choice and to represent the mainstream opinions of its residents. My qualifications include a B.S. in Chemical Engineering; 30 years of professional experience including business management, finance, principal engineer, project management and industrial construction.
I have been a resident of Carnation since 1990. We chose Carnation because it is a small, quiet community, with affordable housing, safe neighborhoods and a wonderful place to raise our children.
Over the past four years I have seen our police force eliminated and our 4th of July celebration diminished. We are now facing mandatory participation in an expensive sewer system in which the cost/benefit isn’t justified.
As your elected official, I intend to listen to the citizens of Carnation; the valuable input from the chamber of commerce, the citizen task forces and act responsibly on your behalf.

My family and I have lived in Carnation for nine years. I believe in giving back to the community as is demonstrated by how active my family and I are throughout Carnation.

My priorities for the next four years include implementing affordable sewers by focusing on grants and subsidies and to assure public safety. The sewer system is necessary to ensure our future existence and to allow us to become more self sufficient. It will help provide us the amenities we require without driving 30-40 miles just to go out to eat.

As part of Public Safety, I will make sure that our community is patrolled frequently by providing maximum police services without levies.

During my tenure I have increased the opportunities for citizens to be heard. If you want Leadership, Integrity and Experience on your City Council then vote Stuart Lisk for City Council, Position No. 5.
