  Duvall is in an exciting period of growth. This presents some great opportunities over the next few years for our city. It is important to build a solid foundation to support that growth and maintain our quality of life. We need to diversify the tax base to provide the revenue needed to improve and maintain our sewer, water, and transportation systems and also provide quality city services like police and fire protection. We also need to provide for parks and recreation facilities for our youth and adult population.

  I am married and have twin daughters currently attending WWU. I have nearly 20 years in the agri-business and food manufacturing business and will be an asset to the city council. I am committed to fiscal responsibility. I believe it is important for the city, schools, business, and community organizations to work together to build a community we are all proud of.

My family and I have been part of the Snoqualmie Valley and Duvall for over twenty years. We live here because we love it here; and have watched it grow into a vibrant rural village.

With the challenges we face today, the city council must have a clear sense of priorities for the whole town; not just the priorities of special or outside interests. While on the council, I have worked to protect the quality of life that we love about Duvall by supporting community safety and working to insure that we implement intelligent growth strategies that embrace the future yet value, celebrate, and foster our rural past.

While on the council, I have advocated for all of Duvall's citizens. If my priorities for Duvall are consistent with yours, I would like to continue the good work that I have been doing- and I ask for your vote.
