As your city councilmember, I've worked hard to assure that your tax dollars have been invested in projects that serve you and your family's future. I've demanded strict accountability for all spending.

As a CPA and experienced finance manager, my professional expertise has improved the financial health of Redmond, including a requirement for more long-range planning. I have opposed unnecessary tax increases, including attempts to levy retroactive property taxes.

I will continue to fight for resources for parks and improved transportation alternatives. We must increase the emphasis on public safety to protect you, your family and your neighborhood.

Your investment in your home should be protected from zoning changes that deteriorate property values. I will continue to fight against changing the rules to allow incompatible non-residential uses next to your home.

If you want a strong voice to keep representing you on these and other critical issues, re-elect Richard Cole.

Lori Snodgrass – Nonpartisan

Lori has dedicated years of service to making Redmond a more livable place. As three term Park Board Chair, she's advocated for improvement of parks, trails, open spaces, and the Old Redmond Schoolhouse, recognized as a "World's Great Public Space."

An 18-year resident and mother of four, Lori is a leading youth advocate, co-founding and chairing Redmond Youth Partnership, serving local PTAs and a Little League board. Lori has 21 years of professional experience as a legal assistant, property and office manager.

When special interest groups proposed changing Redmond's government, Lori helped lead the grassroots campaign that soundly defeated them.

Lori's track record of finding creative solutions, and a leadership style that energizes and encourages visionary and positive outcomes, will help Redmond pursue alternative solutions for transportation, encourage a vibrant downtown, and spend resources wisely.

Lori will be responsive to the people of Redmond. Her candidacy offers a clear choice

Bob Wikstrom – Nonpartisan

As a Seattle area native, my family and I made the decision to live in Redmond based on safety, accessibility, friendliness and vibrancy. I will work toward maintaining a program of managed growth while preserving the small town feel in our neighborhoods.

Redmond faces the challenge of accessibility. To attract new and help all businesses succeed, we must provide a better infrastructure that accommodates all modes of transportation. Commuters must be able to arrive at their destination quickly and painlessly. The City Council should listen and respond to the needs rather than attempt Social Engineering. The question that should be asked, and one I'll continue to ask, is how can city government make life better for our citizens.

I'll bring my management skills used in broadcasting to the Council. I vow to listen to you on the concerns and needs in our community, and work toward timely solutions.

Thank you.
