PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICT NO. 1 KING COUNTY PROPOSITION NO. 1
VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER EMERGENCY MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL SERVICES LEVY

The Commission of Public Hospital District No. 1 adopted Resolution No. 807 proposing to increase its levy for emergency medical care and other services. If approved, the District's regular property tax levy would increase in 2005 to 59 cents per $1,000 of assessed value to support (i) emergency medical care at Valley Medical Center; (ii) emergency room doctors and nurses including an emergency room triage nurse available 24 hours a day; (iii) firefighters who serve as emergency medical technicians in Southeast King County; and (iv) other hospital services. Increases in the District's levy after 2005 will be subject to chapter 84.55 RCW. Should this proposition be:
