City Of Enumclaw – Advisory Opinion No. 1

Levy For Employment Of Two Full Time Fire Fighters
And A Police Dispatcher By Utilizing Banked Capacity

The City Council of the City of Enumclaw, King County, Washington adopted Ordinance No. 2244 concerning a proposition to finance employment of two full time fire fighters and a police dispatcher. This proposition, if approved, will advise the City to increase its permanent regular tax levy by 9.3¢ per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation, notwithstanding otherwise applicable limitations contained in RCW Chapter 84.55, with the proceeds used to finance the employment of two full time fire fighters and a police dispatcher by utilizing banked capacity, all provided in Ordinance No. 2244. Auburn School District No. 408
Proposition No. 1

Bonds For New Elementary Schools - $32,650,000

The Board of Directors of Auburn School District No. 408 adopted Resolution No. 1054 concerning the construction of two new elementary schools. This proposition authorizes the District to make capital improvements that includes the construction and equipping of two new elementary schools, to issue $32,650,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 20 years, and to levy excess property taxes annually to repay the bonds, all as described with additional details in District Resolution No. 1054. The Board of Directors of Auburn School District No. 408 adopted Resolution No. 1055 concerning a technology levy.
