King County Elections is moving to Renton ?
On Nov. 30, King County Elections will close its downtown Seattle offices and move to a 94,000 square foot facility in Renton. The new office will allow Elections functions to be in the same location, improve ballot security and provide a 360 degree view of ballot processing.
The new space will offer early, accessible voting 20 days before every election and will house a regional voting center when King County moves to all-mail voting in 2008.
