Chuck and Betty Mosher, have three children, Jeffrey,
Jason and Janelle, and three grandchildren.
They have lived in Bellevue for 27 years. Chuck has a BS from Oregon State University and an MBA from
Portland State University. Chuck has served
on the Bellevue City Council for 3 years and is currently Deputy Mayor.
Chuck is Chair of the Cascade Water
Alliance, Co-Chair of the Lake Washington/Cedar Watershed Forum, member of the
Tri-County ESA Executive Committee developing salmon recovery plans, and member
of the Greater Lake Washington Watershed Steering Committee. He is a Director for the Association of
Washington Cities and on the Boards of Advance Bellevue, Children's Response
Center and Covenant Shores Retirement Center.
In his second term Chuck plans to 1) support
strong public safety programs and excellent city services, 2) support cost
effective local and regional projects and partnerships such as Bellevue's
expanded convention center and ARCH (a regional coalition for housing), 3) be a
leader in proactive regional growth
management issues that enhance our natural environment while accommodating
planned for growth, 4) maintain Bellevue's city in a park environment by
expanding its parks system and 5) support cost effective city services.
