Don Raybuck brings experience and leadership
skills to the challenges facing Carnation.
He has been a proponent of the change to Council-Manager form of
government to place the city on a business, rather than political foundation
and the upgrading of the police department.
His priorities: Retain quality of life balanced with economic vitality, support a
vote on sewers, fund some youth programs, practice financial responsibility,
provide quality service, think long term.
Don is serving his first term in Carnation
and has eight previous years council experience, during which he was rated
"Outstanding" by the Municipal League and served as
Secretary-Treasurer of the Suburban Cities Association.
Don and wife are six-year residents with 30
years on the Eastside. He is a retired
utility manager with a degree in Administration. Community involvement has included Lower Valley Youth Programs,
Kiwanis and Chamber officer, "Business Week" advisor, and retreat
center board.
