Anthony's priorities will be listen to the citizens of Maple Valley. Better planned growth. Taking care of the traffic problems in this fast growing community, is a must. Getting the necessary support from our county and state offices. Better planning and decision making will make this city a better place for our families to live in, both now and in the future.

Anthony recently retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 26 years of service. He has extensive leadership and management skills and managing budgets from $500,000 to $5 million annually. Past Vice President and President of the Seattle Chapter of the Chief Petty Officers Association. Areas of training include Civil Rights and family advocacy training. Lease negotiations and budget management training. Anthony is currently enrolled at Green River Community College furthering his education. Anthony and his wife Jeannine have lived in Maple Valley for the past five years.

    As a member of the First City Council of Maple Valley I have shown that I am:

    CONCERNED with the issues of our citizens and will listen to and work with them to keep Maple Valley a safe, suitable environment in which to live and raise our families;

    DEDICATED to Maple Valley as a citizen serving on City Council and a government teacher, State Champion We the People ... advisor, and coach at Tahoma High School; and

    RESPONSIBLE to my family (wife, Karen, of ten years and daughter, Taylor, 7 years old), my students and players, and the community.

    While on the council I have helped bring a higher level of service to the citizens while remaining fiscally responsible and lowering our tax rate.   I will continue to work hard to control growth and improve our infrastructure needs.
