I want to continue to serve the citizens of Maple Valley because I don't believe the job of getting our new city "up and running" is complete.     Because I am a lifetime resident, a local business owner, and have an extended family living in the city, I feel a deep responsibility to do the best I can to retain all the great features of Maple Valley, while working to build a future community where my children will want to live.  My background includes business and law degrees, service on the Incorporation Committee and serving on the first City Council as Deputy Mayor.     I will work to maintain a government that is responsive and accountable.  I believe I have the experience, background, ability, commitment and common sense needed to get the job done.  Thank you for letting me serve my hometown.
