Del
Parker will LISTEN, CARE, and HELP citizens
with issues concerning their local neighborhood.
Del has been a pioneer on Mercer Island,
standing alone for neighborhood interests, when doing so was unpopular. Now that citizens have come together to
reject the extravagant community center and $20 million tech levy, a new city
council is being formed around the ideas that Del has stood for in the past.
Del brings useful experience in local
government: summer lifeguard Parks and
Recreation, degree in environmental engineering, hands on experience designing
and building sewage treatment plants, public water sewer facilities,
engineering Miami monorail, reviewing financing and engineering of public
facilities for the state. Island
business owner.
