    Serving on the School Board has been challenging and rewarding. I am fortunate to serve the students and taxpayers of our district for a third term, and am grateful for the opportunity.

    In my second term I have continued to involve myself locally and on Washington State School Director's Association committees, including four years on the WSSDA Legislative Committee, and presently as School Director representative to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) West Central District.

    This third, and final term, brings new and continuing challenges as we work to find ways to operate within an unpredictable state controlled structure. It is an honor to work with the diverse and competent board members, superintendent, and administrative staff, implementing the new state standards. In addition, it will be a privilege to witness the completion of building modernization and new school construction provided by the taxpayers, and presently underway. Thank you.
