I have served on the Enumclaw School District Board of Directors for three years.  I was unanimously elected by the School Board to complete an unexpired term in 1996.  I was re-elected by the people of this district in 1997 and currently serve as President of the Board.  I have kept my commitment to put the interests of children and families first.     My husband Tom and I live in Black Diamond where we own and operate a business.  We have sponsored seven Little League teams.  Our three children ages 7, 11, and 14 attend our district schools.  I have been a leader in School District fund-raising and I am personally active in school functions.     In the past I served three terms as President of the Head Start Policy Council, two years on the Black Diamond Community Center Board and four years I served as Chairperson of Black Diamond Labor Days.
