Wilson

HU

"Education first," Wilson still hears his father saying.

He is committed to developing constructive and encouraging environments where opinions are expressed openly.  "Through mutual trust, cooperation and accountability, we as a community can further develop programs to qualify and encourage students to compete with the country's top students."  Wilson appreciates islander openness in sharing ideas whether on the commuter boat or in the store.  He sets an example by being actively involved with children's lives through tutoring, mentoring and supporting them in their interests and activities.  Wilson applauds the initiative of community individuals who have shown leadership by serving the needs of others.  In the spirit of JFK's inaugural address, Wilson believes that each of us should ask how we will serve the educational needs of our children.

Wilson has a M.S. and B.S. from M.I.T.  He is a returned Peace Corps volunteer currently working as a structural engineer.
