I feel fortunate to be on a school board that works by consensus, in a District where teachers believe in their mission, where parents contribute so greatly and send children to school ready to learn.     We have taken great strides to provide good technology for students to learn and for teachers to educate more effectively.  The citizens of our District have supported this technology direction so our children will be ready for their road ahead.     With support from voters, construction is underway to maintain and improve our school buildings for the future.  We have made special efforts with Design Teams to see that the new construction meets the needs of students, teachers, and the community we serve.     Our educators continue to be among the best, in my view, and we continue to be on the cutting edge of best practices to enhance student learning.     We look forward to your participation.
