Jan WOLDSETH
Jan Woldseth is one of Issaquah's most respected and dedicated community members.  A former high school English teacher, Jan and her husband, Hans have three children:  one at each level of Issaquah Schools.  Jan possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience from service throughout the district:  • Cougar Ridge PTSA President • Issaquah HS PTSA Secretary • Issaquah PTSA Council VP • Cougar Ridge Community Advisory Council Chair • Issaquah Schools Safety Committee • School Construction Guidelines Committee Chair • Volunteer for Issaquah Schools (VIS) • Issaquah Schools Foundation.     Jan has been recognized for her outstanding contributions as the recipient of:  • "Outstanding PTSA Leader" 1998 award • Golden Acorn Award; Cougar Ridge PTSA 1998.     Jan has shown a particular interest in holding teachers and administrators accountable for student learning and prudent financial management.  Additionally, with recent nation-wide alarm over violence in schools, she is an advocate for safety measures throughout the district.
