The Issaquah School District is facing enormous challenges.  We must maintain educational excellence and innovation in the midst of overwhelming growth.  If elected, I will support:  • Long-range planning to assure that educational standards remain high; • Responsible strategies for fair taxation and full funding of schools; • Steady progress toward state school reform goals; • School environments that encourage respect toward all; • More dollars to classrooms through operational efficiencies; • Community and parent involvement in district and school decision-making.     For nearly thirty years, I have devoted my attention to public schools and students.  I will be honored to have your vote, and to serve the students of the Issaquah School District.
