Judy

PARSONS

    Judy Parsons shares your concerns about curriculum, finances, safety, and facilities.  During the past eight years, Judy has earned the respect of her fellow board members and proven she can be trusted to represent the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park communities as a well-rounded; hardworking and dedicated school board member.

    Her knowledge of academic programs is important as the school district is evaluating the quality of educational programs to ensure academic success for all students.  Judy believes it is essential to involve all people who are affected by decisions in the decision making process, and she is also well known for her advocacy of education partnerships.

    As an experienced board member, Judy will provide continuity on the school board, ensure effective leadership, offer guidance, and continue her support of the strong parent and community involvement in our schools.

Jim

LEIGH

    Jim Leigh is committed to provide quality education for ALL children.  Jim will insure that our school district policies protect the interests of the students, teachers, and diversity of our community.  Jim is a good listener and a concerned parent.  Jim understands education, science and technology, and fiscal responsibility.  Jim is bringing the much needed diversity and experience to the Shoreline school board.

    Jim Leigh, wife Tasanee, and four children have lived in Shoreline's North City and Ridgecrest neighborhoods for fourteen years.  Leigh's children attend Briarcrest, Kellogg, and Shorecrest.  Jim is a senior specialist engineer at the Boeing Company in Everett.  Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.

    Jim's community services included member of Transportation Committee and volunteer for Forest and Wetland Stewardship program for DNR.  Jim served as a math and physics tutor for EOP program while studying at NJIT.
