WEISE

    Thank you for your support in the past.  I hope it will continue.  My selection by the purveyors to chair the conservation committee the last two years, indicates my concern for regional water matters and confidence in my leadership.

    Although our cost of water increases annually and will continue with new Federal mandates, I believe we can help meet these costs by increasing the efficiency of districts.  There is much duplication in administration and maintenance.

    My interest in this community for more than 50 years continues and I ask for your help and support.

Earl T.

DeWITT

    Earl DeWitt, candidate for the Ratepayers of Water District #49, and his wife Ruth have lived in Burien for 23 years.  Their children attended area schools.

    Earl served in the U.S. Air Force, is an adult leader of Boy Scouts, received Extra Mile Award, Aquila District Service Award and Award of Merit.

    Earl served as Area Governor, Southern Division Lt. Governor and Treasurer for District #2 Toastmasters and awarded Lt. Governor of the Year.

    Earl retired from the Boeing Co. after 27 years.  He attended Management classes and worked in a supervisory position while at Boeing.  He is now retired and is willing to put those skills to work in our community.

    Earl is concerned about the Ratepayers of our District and will work diligently to:  • Provide quality service at a minimum cost.  • Respond to our growing communities water needs through practical, and long range planning.
