I feel my experience presently as water commissioner and previously as both city council member and assistant fire chief, have brought both knowledge and education to augment an already strong board.     There is much to do and I relish the opportunity to apply my energy and judgment to the tasks that lie ahead.  I have lived in this area for over 80 years and have been involved in various types of community service and know the importance of personal involvement.     The water district is an important and vital local government and I am proud to be associated with it.  I take my responsibility as a representative of my neighbors very seriously and pledge that  my actions and decisions as commissioner will always seek to further and protect the public interest.
