My involvement with water issues began over five years ago when our community well went dry, and work began to bring public water service to our area.  I have been serving as a commissioner since January of this year when I was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board.     The Endangered Species Act, Y2K, and the possible formation of the Cascade Water Alliance are just a few of the future challenges for our district.  Your commissioners are already deeply involved with these issues, and working to minimize their impact on customers while still ensuring a safe and continuing water supply to the area.     The staff and officials of Water District #119 have always endeavored to place the needs of people ahead of other concerns, and as your commissioner I will continue in this practice.     I would appreciate your vote.
