List of Candidates for
WOODINVILLE WATER COMMISSIONER POS. NO. 01
:

Bob

MILTON

As a resident and business owner in Woodinville, I am very concerned with the quality, cost and level of service of our water department.   Woodinville is dependent on the Seattle water system for our resources.  We must take a long and hard look at developing our own water source as a viable alternative for this precious resource.  My background in corporate management and small business management equips me with the skills and strategy to do this.

As your Commissioner, I will be readily accessible to you, the end water user.  I also will request your input in all concerns and decisions made by and presented to the Woodinville Water District Commission.

CAMPAIGN ADDRESS:  14136 NE Woodinville-Duvall RD, Woodinville, WA  98072  TELEPHONE:  (425) 485-9642

Maureen

JEWITT

I have represented the ratepayers of the Woodinville Water District for the last 3 years.  I have committed to and accomplished:  • sound fiscal management of the district.  • pursuit of a reliable, more cost-effective water source.  • excellence in service by district staff.  • promotion of emergency preparedness.

There are many challenges ahead.  The impact of the listing of the salmon under the Endangered Species Act is not fully clear.  The initial regional response has been to expand conservation efforts thereby keeping more water in the streams for the fish.  Matching need and availability of water throughout the Puget Sound region is both the challenge and the goal.  Returning me to office ensures my enthusiastic commitment to the WWD's efforts to obtain more cost-effective water and a regional approach to water issues.  I have the experience and interest to represent you.

Reelect MAUREEN JEWITT, Commissioner, Position #1.
