METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT NO. 02
:

Cynthia

SULLIVAN

Democrat

It has been my pleasure to serve the many Northeast Seattle neighborhoods on the King County Council.  Over the years I have worked tirelessly with so many neighbors in my district, from Wallingford to Northgate, from Maple Leaf to Fremont, to develop needed market-rate and affordable housing, protect and enhance our environment, and improve our public transit system.  Together, we can feel proud of the accomplishments made, but there is much more to be done.

For the next four years, I will continue my efforts with such groups like Cascadia Quest, an environmental protection group I founded that gives young people locally and all over the world the opportunity to work together to restore and protect our environment.  It is critical to maintain support of local food banks to ensure those less fortunate are taken care of.  As a member of Sound Transit's Executive Board, I will work to ensure the system serves the needs of Northeast Seattle efficiently, and develop a mass transit system that knits together the many urban areas in King County.

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity you have given me and I ask for your vote once again.  Thank you.
