As a council leader, Stacey worked to develop Game Farm and Wilderness Parks, as well as, Isaac-Evans, Lakeland Hills, Viewpoint, and Cameron Parks.

Stacey, 51, has two school-age children.  A University of Washington graduate, and Army veteran, he is employed as a senior marketing executive with a local pension management firm.

Gene

CERINO

As an incumbent councilmember for the City of Auburn I choose to run for another term on the council.  I feel that it took at least the first 2 years of my initial term to become an effective representative of the citizens of Auburn.  I now owe it to the city to offer my time for another term so I may use my understanding of the complexities of city government to help guide us through this time of growth and change.

We are entering a time of rapid change with Auburn becoming a point of destination instead of a pass through community.  Our Comprehensive Plan will constantly be meeting challenges during the next 4 years and it will be necessary to have strong council action to react to these challenges.  I believe that I have the background and the time necessary to help protect the quality of life in Auburn.

Clynn James

WILKINSON, JR.

Clynn's family are long time residents of the Green River Valley.  His mother graduated from Renton High School, and Clynn graduated from Kentridge.  After graduating from Washington State University, he moved to Auburn.  He has seen the changes that have come to this area.  As a practicing architect he understands the demands that growth has on the area.  He believes the changes connected to growth can be foreseen and planned for.  Clynn will work for the following:  Planning that will allow for the expected demands of housing and business.  As one who spends a lot of time in his car, he understands that the roads need to meet the demands of this growth.  Auburn has many roads that are too busy, or have cars that speed through residential neighborhoods to bypass busy roads.  Clynn believes that the council should always put the needs of the people and their will first.
