Grant DEGGINGER

Glenn A. HUGHES
Glenn Hughes is a local small business owner who wants to expand the cultural diversity of our community.  He believes in securing Bellevue's future as a dominant city in the regions economy through proper zoning and planning.     Glenn is a licensed private investigator who would like to see increased support and training for the police department in the field of identity theft.  He would also like to see more services for seniors and increased outreach for those to whom English is not their primary language.     Glenn is a certified eco-system management technician and formerly studied urban and regional planning and development at Valparaiso University under a geography major.  He will ensure our urban areas and parks remain in high standing.  A former Army engineer who lived in Asia for a year Glenn will work hard to increase our high tech and other ties throughout the Pacific Rim region. Bob CRONK
Bob Cronk has been a resident of Bellevue for 39 years, graduating from Sammamish High School and Central Washington University with a degree in Accounting.  Bob has been a successful local business owner for over 15 years, and knows we must invest wisely in Bellevue's future.  As a homeowner and businessman, Bob understands the need for fiscal responsibility, and that a thriving business community generates good jobs and the tax revenue necessary to provide first-class city services while reducing residential taxes.     Bob supports pro-active planning to prevent traffic congestion.  He believes in excellence in police, fire, and transportation services to protect the livability and safety of neighborhoods.  Bob supports enhanced opportunities for youth activities, recreation programs and sports fields.     "Quality Neighborhoods and Prosperous Businesses is our vision for the future.  Bellevue is a great place to live and work.  We must protect and encourage both."
