Mark

MELAND

I would like to represent Kirkland City Council.  I'm 23 years old.  I feel that I can bring a positive injection of youth to the council.  I want to help all Kirkland residents feel that their opinions matter.  I feel that every decision made by the council should be based on what's best for the community.  I will actively encourage citizens to voice their opinions.  I believe the most effective city government is one where all citizens are encouraged to participate.

I like people.  I value the opinions of others.  Your opinions will help shape my views on issues that affect Kirkland.  I don't have all the answers to Kirkland's problems.  I do have a positive attitude, an open ear and the desire to do what is right.  I cannot guarantee perfection.  I guarantee that I will put forth my best effort to maintain and improve the City of Kirkland.
