Voting by Absentee Ballot /以缺席郵寄選票投選
Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot. You do not need to be
ill or "absent" to be an absentee voter.
任何已登記的選民都可用缺席 / 郵寄選票投選。您不須生病或不能出席投選才可成為缺席 /郵寄選民。
No absentee ballots are issued on election day except to a voter who
is a resident of a health care facility.
除非是發給現住療養院的選民，在選舉當日，選舉部是不會頒發缺席/郵寄選票給任何選民。
NOTE: Absentee ballots must be signed and postmarked or delivered to the
King County Elections Office by election day. Voters may return their absentee ballots to their nearest polling place.

Each voter will receive a ballot for every election in which they are
entitled to vote. Status as an ongoing absentee voter shall be terminated
upon the
occurrence of the following:

- The cancellation of the voter's registration record

Apply online if you wish to vote absentee for only a specific
election. You may also call us at 206-296-VOTE (8683) or apply in person
at the King
County Elections Office.

Out of Country – Special Ballots/國外 – 特別選票
A "Special Ballot " is a special absentee ballot for voters residing
or stationed outside of the Continental U.S. who believe they will be unable
to vote a regular absentee ballot by normal mail delivery. Such voters may
apply in writing to this office to receive a write-in ballot listing major
offices and measures. These requests can be accepted starting ninety days
before a general election. The special absentee ballot will be mailed as
soon as possible after a request is received.
“特別選票”是一種特別缺席/郵寄選票，適用于那些相信他們不能以普通郵遞投選缺席/郵寄選票，及居住或駐任於美國國外的選民。此類選民可以書面向選舉部申請，索取一份列有主要職位及議案的自填選舉項目的選票。選舉部在選舉前 90 天即開始接受這些申請要求。收到申請通知後，選舉部將盡快寄出 特別 缺席/郵寄選票。
If You Are Hospitalized/如閣下住院療養
A voter admitted to a hospital no earlier than five days before an
election and confined to the hospital on Election Day may apply
in writing for
an absentee ballot to be delivered by messenger on Election Day.
如選民在選舉日前五天內需入住醫院，並在選舉日亦需留院療養，他可以書面申請，在選舉日，要求其缺席郵寄選票由郵遞專員送達。
