Verify Your Provisional Ballot

A provisional ballot is usually cast by a voter whose name does not appear in the poll book or did not provide proper identification at the polls. Provisional ballots are counted after election officials verify the voter is eligible to cast a ballot, a labor-intensive process which generally takes between five and nine days to complete. Once verified, the ballot is added to the official count.

The provisional ballot lookup is currently not available for this election.

Provisional ballots will be available about three days after an election until the election is certified. Certification is 15 days after a primary or special election and 21 days after the general election. For more information, call 206-296-VOTE (8683) or e-mail voter.services@metrokc.gov.
