Polling place changes
 Some polling places in Kirkland and Seattle will change for the General Election November 8, 2005.
King County is alerting voters to the change by sending updated registration cards to those affected and posting signs at the closed polling places November 8 with the address of the new location. About 1,535 voters will be affected.
In Kirkland, the North Kirkland Community Center at 12421-103rd Ave., NE is being remodeled so that polling place will move to Christ Church of Kirkland at 11725 NE 118th St. In Seattle the consolidation of two polling places will mean poll voters who previously voted at Hilltop House at 1005 Terrace St. will now go to Jefferson Terrace at 800 Jefferson St. To assist voters affected by the two changes, brightly colored, waterproof signs will be placed around the old polling places.
