Final numbers Election Day results posted, 99.7% of precincts counted King County Media office closed

King County Elections’ has posted the last batch of poll ballot totals.

Election results summary to date:

• 80,142 absentee ballots tabulated to date which represents all ballots received in the mail through yesterday.
• 20,644 poll votes cast (which does not include provisional ballots)
• 100,786 total ballots cast

The next posting of results will be Wednesday, Feb.7, 2007, by 4:30 p.m., in line with the tabulation schedule posted online at http://www.metrokc.gov/elections/200702/resultsschedule.asp.

The media room established by King County Elections to assist reporters and other media throughout Election Day is closed. Tabulation will begin at 10:30 a.m.
