![]() Oct. 4, 2007 Supplemental voters' pamphlet in the mail for north King County residentsVoters' in northern King County will receive a supplemental edition of their state and local Voters' Pamphlet this weekend. Edition 18 was printed and mailed without the Sound Transit & RTID Proposition No. 1 pro and con statements page. The error occurred during the printing process and was discovered yesterday, after edition 18 was mailed to households in Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Woodinville, and Redmond. Voters will receive their supplemental pamphlet before absentee ballots are mailed. The print vendor, agreed to reprint the missing page and mail a supplemental copy to 71,000 voter households tomorrow. The supplemental edition 18 will include the Sound Transit and RTID official ballot title, explanatory statement, pro and con statements, and a map. All other editions mailed to King County households were not impacted by the printer error. "I'm pleased the print vendor is taking full responsibility and acting quickly to address this printing error," said Sherril Huff, director of King County Records, Elections and Licensing Services Division. "We will enhance our quality control steps to ensure any vendor mistakes like this are detected and remedied, and require the same quality assurance protocol from our vendors." Absentee ballots for the General Election will be mailed to King County voters Oct.17, 2007. Voters living in the following zip codes receive edition 18 and will receive a supplemental voters' pamphlet:
