![]() Feb. 21, 2008 March 11 special election ballots in the mailMore than 118,000 absentee ballots were mailed yesterday to voters in the five following school districts. About 1,500 ballots were mailed to military, overseas and out of state voters on February 8.
Voters who are signed up to receive their ballot by mail should contact King County Elections if they do not receive their ballot by Friday, Feb. 29 at 206-296-VOTE (8683) or http://www.kingcounty.gov/vote.aspx. In-person accessible voting In-person accessible voting is available for all voters through Mar. 11, Election Day, at King County Elections' Renton office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Accessible voting units provide an audio and touch-screen ballot in English and Chinese. With large font and high contrast options and tactile devices, voting is made easy for people with partial or no vision and any voter with a disability. All voters are welcome to vote using an accessible voting unit. King County Elections is located at 919 SW Grady Way in Renton and is accessible on Metro bus route 140.
