List of Candidates for City of Sammamish Council-Interim Term--Position 1:

Di IRONS
For the past several years I have actively worked for Sammamish incorporation and to protect our quality of life. My qualifications to serve on the Sammamish Interim City Council include working in government, business management and with budgets and contracts. I am fiscally conservative and my work experience gives me a good understanding of working with government regulations.
Public safety is a city's first priority. Other priorities are growth management, infrastructure improvement, preservation of the environment and being responsive to the public. I strongly support an immediate building moratorium. Exceptions to this moratorium would be considered on an individual basis, e.g., a person applying to build a single family home. It is imperative we establish local control to shape the future of our community.
I am committed to protecting our community and having Sammamish a model of the benefits of local control. Please Vote IRONS on April 27th. Thank you.

Phil DYER
As State Representative during the last 6 years in Olympia, it was a privilege to represent you as my friends and neighbors in the legislature.
My experience, integrity, and honest belief that I can contribute responsibly to the governance of our City of Sammamish, are the reason for my candidacy.
I have lived within Sammamish for 16 years with my wife of 21 years, Carolyn and our two sons Pierce and Peyton, both in the Issaquah public schools.
Getting our new city off on the right foot will require knowledge of the intricacies of government, the complexities of public policy development and implementation, and the ability to distill these elements into clear accountability to our fellow citizens and taxpayers. I have the experience and qualifications that can make these positive contributions to the make-up of our prospective city council, I would be honored to have your support.
