Tim HICKEL

Accountability is the major challenge facing our legal system. We must elect judges who will consistently enforce the law and hold offenders of all ages accountable for their actions.
As our state representative, Tim increased protection for victims of domestic violence and worked to restore accountability to the juvenile justice system. He successfully co-sponsored "two strikes" for violent sex predators and strengthened DUI laws. Tim will bring accountability to the court.
In 1996, Tim received the Washington State Law Enforcement Sentinel Award for his efforts on behalf of law enforcement. He was also featured in the September 1996 Trial News for his advocacy on behalf of an injury victim.
His endorsements include over two hundred local citizens and community leaders, the King County Police Officers Guild and the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs who represent approximately 95% of all line officers in the State.
Tim serves on the boards of the South King County Multi-Service Center, the Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation and the World Class Aquatic Foundation. He is active in Kiwanis and his children's school Sherwood Forest Elementary.
Respect and fairness toward all participants, consistent enforcement of the law, and accountability are Tim's commitments to us.
