It has been my honor to serve as your Seattle District Court Judge for the past eight years. I look forward to continue that service for another term. The following is an excerpt from a letter I received...
"The manner in which you ran your Court was by far and away the best I have seen. You showed refreshing candor with defendants, as well as their attorneys, while at the same time maintaining decorum and respect for the Court. It was obvious you possess not only knowledge of the law, but an ability to relate that law to the facts being presented." John Borders, Northwest Alternatives, Inc.
Here are a few of my activities outside of the Courtroom: Five years on the State Judicial Education Committee; Two terms Seattle Division Presiding Judge; Two terms Seattle Division Acting Presiding Judge.
Participant: Domestic Violence Summit; Regional Education Program; Juvenile Justice Roundtable; Managing Human Resources.
Presenter/Speaker: State Judicial College; Dispute Resolution Training Workshops; State Judicial Spring Conferences; Franklin High School Law Program.
Community Activities: Urban 4-H Club of America; Senior Citizen Annual Dinner; Youth Soccer.
I will continue to be OPEN, FAIR and HARDWORKING. Thank you for your confidence, support and vote.
