Live Well Challenge Rules
- Registration is open from June 23th – July 11th.
- The Live Well Challenge officially begins on July 14 and ends on August 24th.
- Teams consist of 3-10 members, including one Team Captain.
- Participants may drop from participation before the event, but not after registration closes (July 11th) . Exceptions to the rule will be made only in rare situations (serious illness, leaving King County, or similar circumstances). In such situations, the Team Captain must notify the Live Well Challenge staff immediately.
- Individuals may be a member of only one team.
- No changes can be made to team names or team roster after July 11th.
- Individuals are eligible and encouraged to participant even while on vacation. Individuals must provide their Team Captain with projected point totals in advance of the week(s) for which they will be absent.
- Weeks run from Monday to Sunday (for instance, week #1 is July 14th - 20th).
- Participants are responsible for reporting points to Team Captains by 5pm on Monday of the following week (for example Monday, July 21st for week #1).
- Team Captains are responsible for submitting points online by midnight on Tuesday of the following week (for example Tuesday, July 22nd for week #1). To be eligible for the weekly prize, points must be submitted for the previous week by Tuesday at midnight. In the event a Team Captain cannot submit points online, they can submit points to the Health Matters Team either by email or phone.
- Weekly points entered after midnight on Tuesday but by midnight on Friday will only be counted toward final point totals. No points will be accepted after Friday midnight.
- If the Team Captain is unable to report points, the Team Captain is responsible for finding a team participant who will report weekly points in his/her place.
- No partial points will be given.
