Your King County Benefits

If you're looking for details about your health and insurance benefits, you've come to the right place. Your King County Benefits, the collection of booklets about your health and insurance benefits, has been updated with 2007 benefits information in a Web version for regular employees" (including Local 587 full-time transit operators) and for part-time transit operators. Your King County Benefits for deputy sheriffs remains unchanged and is only available as a PDF.

If you're a regular employee or part-time transit operator interested in a quick glance at your KingCare or Group Health medical benefits, select one of the "benefits at a glance" links under "Links to Help" on the right side of this page.

To get started

If you are a regular employee or part-time transit operator, select the Web site link that applies to you. At the Web site, place your cursor over "Select a Section" just underneath "Your King County Benefits." You will see the main categories of benefits information, such as "Health Care," available to you. When you select one of the categories, look at the vertical menu on the left side of the page for an outline of topics in that category. As you beome familiar with the site, you will find your own methods of navigating the site. Meanwhile, when you find a topic that's of particular interest to you, be sure to bookmark it for easy reference in the future.

The search function at the top right corner of the Web site allows you to look for information within Your King County Benefits without searching the entire King County Web site. To take advantage of this feature, type in a topic such as "annual deductible," check the box next to "Search this section" and click the "Search" button. You should find all the references to "annual deductible" within Your King County Benefits.
