Who we are
Pam Wyss
Pam received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Washington University, St. Louis, in 1986 with a dual concentration in Family Therapy and Industrial/Occupational Social Work. She has worked almost exclusively in both clinical and administrative EAP positions since that time and has been at King County Employee Assistance Program since 1998.
Pam is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington
and certified nationally as an Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
Tom Friedel
Tom graduated from Seattle University in 1966, and after serving in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, he returned to Seattle University and earned a certificate in chemical dependency studies. He has worked as a chemical dependency counselor and in the employee assistance profession before joining King County's Employee Assistance Program in 1981.
Tom is certified nationally as an Employee Assistance Professional
(CEAP). He completed the Employee Assistance Professionals Associations
Substance Abuse Professionals training and examination, which is a
credential required by the Federal Department of Transportation to
provide assessments for safety-sensitive employees who are positive
on drug tests.
