How are other workgroups celebrating Public Health Week?
Eastgate Public Health Center
At Eastgate this year, you will be challenged to "
Find Your Supervisor." Each day of the week, an Eastgate supervisor will be strategically placed somewhere within walking distance of the Center. You will receive clues as to their location, but then you are on your own to find them. Individuals and teams that find all 5 Eastgate supervisors during the week will win fabulous prizes. Sign up for a pedometer at the
Stepping Up - Stepping Out site.
North Public Health Center
Employee appreciation potluck breakfast and neighborhood walk. On April 10th, staff will treat one another to breakfast from 8-9am, then walk for 15 minutes on Route I or 30 minutes on Route II. Each group will report back their total steps taken on the walk. Employees who want a pedometer will
register online or over the phone for Public Health Week Walks.
Federal Way Public Health Center
This center is posting a bulletin board during Public Health Week to share health recipes and stories with one another.
Renton Roads
Renton Roads is doing a Poker Walk. The supervisor (Rick Schwartz) is taking employees on a 15 minute jaunt. He'll hide playing cards at 5 locations and when they get back to the office, the walker with the best hand wins a gift card to Subway.
