Member Guidelines Fact Sheet
Welcome to the King County Weight Watchers At Work® program. We are pleased to bring this convenient on-site meeting opportunity to county employees.
The Weight Watchers At Work program is a private, specialized Weight Watchers meeting that is specifically designed to serve the needs of working men and women. The series consists of weekly meetings held early morning, after work, or during lunch or at any other time that is convenient for your group.
Pre-registration
All participants must pre-register. Registration and prepayment are needed one week prior to the date a series begins. A split payment option is available to anyone who joins the meeting the first week. For your convenience, you may pay with check, cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card.
Weigh-In
Time is allowed before and after the meeting for weigh-in. The meeting is spent in discussion, goal setting and motivation.
Missed Meetings
You can attend a Traditional meeting in the same community at no additional charge. You must bring your Weight Watchers At Work registration book with you to verify that you are a current member and that you have paid. If another Weight Watchers At Work meeting is currently available at a county location, you may attend it at no additional charge. Again, please bring your Weight Watchers At Work registration book with you.
Weight Guidelines
In order to join any Weight Watchers meeting, you must have at least 5 pounds to lose above your minimum weight goal. Your weight goal range is based on your height and age. Individual concerns should be discussed with a Weight Watchers staff person.
Confidentiality
Personal concerns discussed in the meeting are held in confidence, a need respected by others in the group and by Weight Watchers staff. Group leaders who are paid employees of Weight Watchers keep personal information on participants secure at all times. No information about participants will be shared with the County.
