King County General Budget Advisory Task Force Members
Robert C. Wallace. Bob is CEO of Wallace Properties, Inc. and Managing Partner of Wallace Properties Group. Bob co-chaired the Metropolitan Parks Task Force, formed in February 2002 to address long-term solutions for King County's parks in the face of budget shortfalls. Bob serves as co-chair of the Budget Advisory Task Force.
John Warner. John recently retired from Boeing where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. John is active in a broad range of community activities, serving on boards of the Pacific Science Center, Islandwood, The Alliance for Education and others. John is also a trustee of Western Washington University. John serves as co-chair of the Budget Advisory Task Force.
The Honorable Terrence Carroll. A Seattle native and retired King County Superior Court Judge, Terrence is owner of Judicial Dispute Resolution, LLC. Terrence also serves as the Internal Investigations Auditor for the Seattle Police Department. Terrence is also a member of the Public Facilities District.
Clem Edwards. Clem Edwards is a public sector labor relations consultant recently retired from 30 years of public service. Clem's public sector experience includes the direct delivery of municipal government services, labor agreement negotiations and administrations, and leading labor management collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives.
Rollin Fatland. Rollin served for over 15 years in local government, including positions on the Seattle City Council staff, the Seattle City Comptroller's Office and for seven years as Deputy King County Executive. For the past nine years, Rollin has served as a business and public affairs consultant for a variety of clients on issues relating to land use and zoning to public procurement and public utilities. Clients have included the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, US West, Motorola, Aetna Insurance, ChevronTexaco, Birmingham Steel and many others.
The Honorable Booth Gardner. Booth served as Governor of the state of Washington from 1985 through 1993. After leaving office, Booth was appointed U.S. Ambassador to the World Trade Organization. Booth retired from that post in 1997 and since has remained involved in numerous public policy issues in the state.
The Honorable Darcy Goodman. Darcy retired in January 2003 after 20 years on the King County District Court Bench, which included two terms as King County District Court Presiding Judge.
Jim Hattori. Jim is a financial consultant specializing in municipal finance. Over the past 15 years, Jim has served as financial advisor on over 130 bond issues with a combined par value of over $5 billion.
Connie Proctor. Connie is an attorney with a practice based in Seattle.
Peggy Phillips. Peggy is the former Chief Operating Officer of the Immunex Corporation.
Ralph Siegel. A Seattle native, and Mercer Island resident, Ralph is currently the Managing partner of the Northwest practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the "Big Four" largest public accounting firms in the world. Actively involved in community and civic affairs, Ralph serves as Chairman of the Board of the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Treasurer of the Boards of both the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and United Way of King County, and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of King and Pierce Counties. Ralph brings the experience of 27 years of financial expertise in the public accounting field to the Task Force.
The Honorable John Spellman. Governor John Spellman was the first King County Executive, elected for 3 terms (1969-1981). John served as governor from 1981 to 1985. John is a Graduate of Georgetown School of Law and has been a lawyer with Carney-Badley-Spellman since 1985. John also is a professor of Administrative Law at Seattle University's Institute of Public Service.
Aggie Sweeney. Aggie is Principal and Regional Manager, The Collins Group, a firm providing fundraising consultation to nonprofit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Aggie has over 25 years experience working in nonprofits, with a focus on health and human services. Aggie served as executive of Eastside Domestic Violence Program for eight years before joining The Collins Group. A resident of the Eastside for nearly 20 years, Aggie currently lives in unincorporated King County in the Snoqualmie Valley.
