Regional Contracting Forum

Promotes broader access to public contracting opportunities for small businesses, (including economically disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses,) through collaboration with other government agencies.

Regional Contracting Forum

The annual Regional Contracting Forum provides a wealth of information on upcoming contracting opportunities with public agencies, networking with procurement officials and access to resources and tools to assist small firms seeking to do business with these government entities.

Benefits of the Regional Contracting Forum include:

  • Access to Information on how to do business with public agencies;
  • Advance notification of upcoming contracting opportunities;
  • Direct communication with public procurement officials; and,
  • Networking with business owners for future partnering or collaboration.

Outreach efforts for the Forum support increased participation by small businesses.

In March 2005, King County, in partnership with several other public agencies, convened the third annual Regional Contracting Forum. More than 500 people attended.
