White Center Storefront Studio Project

Students at the University of Washington 's School of Architecture and Urban Planning recommend historic restoration and façade improvement projects through design studio project in White Center 's historic commercial district.

The Storefront Studio Project is a collaborative effort in support of revitalizing White Center 's historic business district. Funded by the King County Historic Preservation Program, students from the UW School of Architecture and Urban Design are collaborating with the White Center Community Development Association, City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, and business and property owners to design façade renovations, apply for grants, low interest loans and special tax programs, and prepare design guidelines for the White Center business district.
