Julie Koler , Historic Preservation Officer
206 296-8689 Julie is responsible for managing the King County Historic Preservation Program including coordination of the Landmarks Commission. She serves as the County lead on preservation issues to multiple local jurisdictions, state and federal agencies, tribal governments, non-profit organizations, contractors, property owners, consultants and developers. Julie coordinates the development and implementation of County policy related to historic and archaeological resource protection and monitors federal, state and local historic preservation legislation to ensure compliance with laws and regulations affecting County programs and projects. She also develops and implements training for County personnel dealing with historic and archaeological resource protection.

Todd Scott, Design Review Coordinator
206 296-8636 Todd has served as the Design Review Coordinator since April 2007. He staffs the Design Review Committee, a sub-committee of the Landmarks Commission that is responsible for reviewing and recommending action on Certificates of Appropriateness. He also assists with coordination of all King County and interlocal landmark nominations and the incentive programs offered to landmark owners. Todd regularly works with property owners and other public agencies to plan and coordinate preservation projects and provide technical assistance. Charlie Sundberg, Preservation Planner

Charlie is the Preservation Planner for the Historic Preservation Program. He serves as lead staff for environmental review services providing analysis and assessment of impacts of private and public development proposals, studies, agency rules and policies on historic and archaeological resources. He performs on-site review, provides technical advice to several King County agencies and represents King County in the Federal NHPA Section 106 review process, the County's SEPA process, permit review and conditioning, and review of State archaeological site permits and mitigation. Charlie is responsible for maintaining the County's archaeological sensitivity model.
