Office of Port Jobs

Port JOBS is a non-profit organization working to increase access to living wage jobs for all residents of the Greater Seattle area. Port JOBS targets the wide array of career opportunities within the port-related economy.

PortJOBS recently implemented the Working Wheels program to support and compliment participants by providing the opportunity to purchase used and well maintained automobiles at a fraction of the cost facilitating travel to construction sites not readily accessible by public transportation.

PortJOBS in partnership with South Seattle Community College received a national best practice award for creating an innovative training strategy to ensure limited English-speaking workers were able to pass the required airport screener test and maintain their employment.
