Control of the 4H's

Improved erosion control at construction sites will protect water quality and salmon Habitat is where local governments and private citizens have the most control. Harvest and hatcheries are managed by the state and Indian tribes and dams are regulated by the federal government. Therefore, habitat is where local recovery efforts will focus. We can improve conditions for salmon through land use permitting, storm water management, and water quality codes, as well as our everyday actions. (5 of 15)
