Salmon on the Brink Salmon...On the Brink is a half-hour primer that looks at the history of the salmon situation and the potential impact of the proposed Endangered Species Act listing of chinook salmon on Washington's economy.

Veteran KCTS producer/reporter Enrique Cerna interviews fishers, charter boat operators, land developers, conservationists and members of Northwest Indian tribes, as well as Terry Garcia, who oversees the National Marine Fisheries Service; Washington Governor Gary Locke; and the executives of King, Pierce and Snohomish counties, who have created a Tri-County Council to handle the proposed listing.

CTV is available on TCI Cable Channel 55 in Bothell and Woodinville; on Channel 59 in Sheridan Beach, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Issaquah Plateau and parts of Seattle (Northeast Seattle, Crown Hill, East Capital Hill, Green Lake, and Rainier Valley); Channel 22 in much of West Seattle; and on Channel 72 or 80 in the downtown Seattle area served by Summit Cable.
