16th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

Stride Toward Freedom!

King County's 16th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration was held Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 at the 5th Avenue Theatre in downtown Seattle. Keynote speaker for the event was Seattle Times columnist Jerry Large. The celebration was well attended by King County employees and elected officials including King County Executive Ron Sims, Council Chair Cynthia Sullivan, Council members Larry Gossett, Dow Constantine and Kathy Lambert, Sherriff Dave Reichert and Assessor Scott Noble.
