King County Recorder’s Office sets up temporary offices

The King County Recorder's Office of the Department of Information & Administrative Services has set up temporary offices on the 18th floor of the Key Tower, 700-5th Avenue during the earthquake-related closure of the King County Administration Building. The focus of this temporary office is on essential documents that must be recorded today.

The Recorder's Office is expected to reopen in its regular offices in the King County Administration Building (500-4th Avenue) on Monday, March 5. The Recorder's Office normal phone numbers are being staffed today, Friday March 2, in the Key Tower temporary offices:

The Recorder’s Office provides assistance to individuals with search and retrieval of documents such as land records, marriage documents, surveys, excise tax affidavits, and general documents filed with the King County Recorder's Office.
