King County poll results

Over the past week the following informal, unscientific poll has been running on the King County Executive's home page, at http://www.metrokc.gov/exec/.

The question asked this week was:

Disaster Preparedness
Considering the recent 6.8 earthquake, should the federal government continue to fund disaster preparedness efforts at the current level, continue and increase funding, or discontinue funding?

As of this morning, final poll results were:

Continue funding at current level 133
Continue and increase funding 131
Discontinue funding 34
Not sure 6
Other 1
TOTAL VOTES 305

The current question running for the week of March 16 - March 22 is:

WATER USE
Has your household begun voluntarily reducing water use due to the expected drought?

Residents can participate in the poll on the Executive's home page.
